Ankarafantsika → Ambondromamy
Morning park visit for lakes, trails and wildlife, followed by a short drive to Ambondromamy. Approx. 1–2 hrs.
Ambondromamy → Antsohihy
Continue north on RN6 through changing road conditions to Antsohihy. Approx. 250 km / 5–6 hrs.
Antsohihy → Ankarana Reserve
Drive through rural northern landscapes and settle near Ankarana. Approx. 270 km / 6–7 hrs.
Ankarana Reserve
Explore tsingy formations, caves, suspension bridges and endemic wildlife. A local guide is recommended.
Ankarana Deeper Exploration
Discover longer circuits, hidden caves and less-visited areas of the reserve.
Ankarana → Red Tsingy → Diego Suarez
Visit the Red Tsingy before continuing to Antsiranana. Approx. 150–200 km / 5–6 hrs.
